Gabrielle is a Global Mobility Account Manager at Shield GEO. She graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also holds a designation, as a certified Global Mobility Specialist in her field. She has 20 years combined experience in Global HR, Relocation Management, and Global Mobility. She has refined her skills over the years working in various corporate roles within the Oil & Gas Industry within Chevron Corporation, BP America, Wood Group Mustang and Weichert Workforce Mobility.
Gabrielle’s true passion is people. Having a career in Global Human Resources has given her the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most fascinating people in the world. Having worked extensively with Expats and their families in both in-house and outsourced programs, she has gained vast knowledge on doing business globally and how to navigate the many challenges of mobilising people worldwide.
Gabrielle believes that transparency and listening are the key to building sound relationships. In the world of Global Mobility things are constantly changing and we must be willing to adapt daily to meet the needs of every single employee. Gabrielle strives to listen first in order to develop an understanding of what her client’s needs are in that moment. She always tries to put herself in their shoes and asks “what kind of support would I need most in that particular situation?”. Having compassion and being a servant leader in this field goes along way!
Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her son Trevor, husband Steve, and her family. She is an avid sports fan, enjoys fine cigars, champagne, traveling, music is her happy place and she will forever love PRINCE. One day, she would like to write a book and have her own blog.
