Laui is a Global Mobility Associate at Shield GEO. She graduated from the University of the Philippines, Diliman with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has over 4 years of experience in Global Mobility working in both administrative and relocation service support roles. Apart from Global Mobility, Laui has high-level experience in compliance and client screening.
Laui was introduced to Global Mobility while working within a global financial institution with international mobility at the forefront of its employee development program. Having exposure to diverse cultural backgrounds and working with amazing colleagues internationally, she developed a love for the industry. Laui believes that international mobility is an excellent opportunity to enrich the lives and careers of employees, and a strong strategy for companies to adapt to a fast-paced world.
At the core of Laui’s philosophy at work and in life is empathy. She views customer service to not only be providing help when customers ask but also being able to anticipate and go beyond their needs. Laui mentions how this also applies when collaborating within a team. She believes in maintaining integrity in her work as well as in her day-to-day interactions.
Laui states, “Mean what you say and deliver any expectations you set. Couple this with effective communication and critical thinking, and you are golden.”
Outside of work (and with time allowing), Laui is a trained musical theater actor and performs professionally onstage in the Philippines. She is also planning to earn a master’s degree in Psychology in the near future. She spends her free time reading books, writing journals, and learning to cook with her partner, James.
